Suva is the capital and largest city of Fiji. Suva is the home of beautiful landmarks and natural attractions that makes it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the South Pacific.
Qantas Airways and Air Pacific both fly near Suva from some of the largest cities in Australia. The airports in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney all fly to Fiji. The Nausori International Airport is the only airport located near Suva, but it only operates domestic flights. All cheap flights to Suva from Australia will fly to Nadi International Airport which is located in Nadi, Fiji. The quickest way to get to Suva would be to fly to Suva after landing in Nadi.
Every flight from the Nadi International Airport to the Nausori International Airport is conducted by Air Pacific. They conduct flights between the two airports throughout the day. After landing at the Nausori airport, it is only a 30 minute drive to Suva. There are cars and shuttle available at the airport to get into the city of Suva.
It is possible to book all of the flights at the same time. Going through a travel agent or booking the flights online will allow you to get all of the connecting flights booked at the same time. This will allow anyone to fly from Australia to Nadi, Fiji and already have the flight to Suva booked, ready for their Suva holidays. This eliminates any troubles and will shorten the wait in the airport.
